Flat White – Australia
Even if you’re not from Australia, you’ve probably heard of a flat white before. It has spread around the world as coffee lovers experiment with different ways to enjoy their favorite beverage. A flat white is similar to a cappuccino, but made with less milk and foam.
Instead, the focus is on microfoam, which is milk steamed to a fine froth, which gives the drink a velvety consistency. A flat white contains two parts microfoam to every one-part espresso, which gives the drink a smooth yet coffee-forward taste.
