Patatas Bravas
At their heart, patatas bravas are dead simple – they’re just chunks of fried potatoes doused with tomato sauce. However, once you get to Spain, you’ll realize that it doesn’t take much to make a dish like this popular all around the country.
Patatas bravas are usually found as a tapa as it’s great for a quick snack. It’s really the sauce that makes this dish special. In most places the tomato sauce will be both creamy and a bit spicy. You can sometimes find the potatoes topped with aioli as well.
