4. Hostels Are Always Cheap
Despite being known as the hotel’s ugly little brother, hostels worldwide are not always that much cheaper than a budget or locally owned hotel. (Unless you’re working to stay, as explained in point 2.)
Sure, in some places sharing a room with twenty other people will get you the savings you desire, but in other places it may not. Do a quick price comparison prior to booking any hostel or hotel to make sure that listening to twelve other people snore all night is going to be worth it.
