2. Accommodations Are Always Expensive
Budgeting for any Euro trip is difficult and travelers are always looking for ways to save money. One great way to lower your living expenses is to stay in hostels that will allow you to work to stay. Instead of paying cash for your room and board, many hostels will assign travelers with daily duties associated with the hostel’s upkeep in exchange for a bed and roof over your head. Do your research ahead of time and make sure the hostel will be in need of your assistance during the time of your stay, or else you will have to fork over some cash.
