Delays of all sorts should be anticipated. Weather delays are more frequent than one might hope. In Italy, we were unable to fly out of Aviano because it was foggy and the Italian air travel authority wouldn’t answer his phone on a Saturday to approve the plane landing. In Arizona, we were once grounded until late afternoon because the hot air was too thin to get lift without over-stressing the old plane’s engines. Make the most of it and keep being flexible!
