Vin de pêche
Vin de pêche is a treat that is regularly enjoyed throughout the French countryside during the summer. It’s simply red wine that has young peach leaves added and left to steep. You need around 30 leaves, or a few regular branches to taste a real difference in your wine.
After the wine has steeped, the leaves are pulled out and cognac is added. Drink in the summer, well chilled, with a slice of orange on the rim of your glass.
