The Most Breathtaking Libraries

Bodleian Library
Location: University of Oxford, England
This medieval library is the main research library of Oxford University and one of the oldest libraries in all of Europe. The current building with its renovations dates back to 1602, but originally the library was constructed in the 14th-century. The interior of the building is dark but beautiful with its wood-paneled walls, low ceilings, and somber lighting.
The gothic elegance of this ancient library makes it perfect for curling up with your favorite book, drinking a nice warm cup of tea, or defeating Voldemort. In fact, the Bodleian Library was used in the first two Harry Potter movies as the Hogwarts Library as well as the Hogwarts Hospital.
