West Kennet Long Barrow – England
West Kennet Long Barrow is a grave that dates all the way back to 3650 BC, and is thought to have been in use for over 1000 years by the Neolithic people who once inhabited the British Isles. Located in Wiltshire, this series of stone chambers was first excavated in 1859 and was found to contain the partial and cremated remains of at least 46 people along with pottery, tools, and other burial items.
Around 2000 BC, the passages were filled in with rubble and the entrances were blocked off with boulders, but in the 1950s, the site was restored and is now open to the public.
