Mini Guide to England
Main Cities and Towns
Brighton
Brighton is London’s closest seaside resort. On the rare occasion when the sun is shining and the day is hot, people take the 40-minute train down to the coast, where they can enjoy the sea and sunbathe on the curious pebble beach.
Apart from the beach, many people go to the city to enjoy the Palace Pier with its amusement park and fun roller coasters. Brighton is also super alternative and is considered the unofficial gay capital of the UK.
Stratford-upon-Avon
For those willing to experience a small town packed with culture and interesting history, Stratford-upon-Avon might be the perfect destination. Although it has a population of nearly 30,000, it receives over 2.5 million visitors every year. The main reason being that the town is the birthplace of William Shakespeare, one of the greatest playwright and poets of all times.
It’s also possible to enjoy the Tudor-era architecture as you walk along the cobbled narrow streets. The only question remaining is “to go or not to go?”
