| May 19, 2017
Anime North
Anime North is the perfect festival for anime lovers. It’s the largest anime convention in Canada, held on a weekend in May every year since its founding in 1997. In recent years, organizers have put a limit on admittance, capping it at roughly 30,000 people, so make sure to get your tickets early! The convention is spread out over six different venues right near Toronto’s Pearson International Airport, making it easy for international visitors to get there. In addition to a gigantic marketplace, there are costume competitions, dances, concerts, panels, and gaming tournaments.
