6. Seafood “na buzara”
Another traditional seafood dish is seafood “na buzara”, which is a method of preparation that highlights the catch of the day. There are plenty of different fish or shellfish that can be used for this dish, but common ones are shrimp, scampi, mussels, or clams. The seafood is quickly cooked in a broth of white wine, garlic, and herbs, then served with a touch of tomato paste for color. The meal is commonly eaten with your hands, with plenty of bread and potatoes to absorb the delicious sauce.
