The Best of Boston: 10 Essential Experiences

Cobwebs Antiques
Though it’s a bit off the beaten track, this tiny antique store is one of my favorite places in the city. Part antique shop, part flower shop, it’s filled with eccentric goodies from estate sales around the city. When I was there last, small owl figurines were everywhere. The owner told me they’d been to a sale with over 300 owls in the house!
The owner himself is one of the main draws to the place. Originally from Galway, Ireland, he’s quick to make friends with all of his guests. I loved chatting with him and eavesdropping on the stories he told other customers.
It’s a little hole in the wall place, but worth the visit just to get a glimpse of the warm, peculiar culture of Boston.
