8 Reasons Not to Skip Sao Paulo
| January 20, 2016
SP is great for markets
Sao Paulo is known for its large and inexpensive markets. Mercado Municipal is huge and a great photo op, with thousands of different items for sale.
Brazilians love shopping in Sao Paulo, and even just taking a walk down Avenida Paulista you’ll run into tons of vendors selling stuff on the street especially in the afternoon and on the weekend.
If you’re planning to check out MASP (the museum), plan it for a Sunday and organize enough time to check out the handicraft market below, which is one of the best in the city and a great place to buy souvenirs.
